A lot has changed since I picked up my pencil and started drawing again just a few short months ago. What started a single drawing that was inspired by my mother, has begun growing into something much larger.

So many people have embraced my art and, thanks to the power of social media, the audience is global. I’ve received hundreds of comments from people all over the world, but the majority of those comments have been restricted to Instagram and Twitter – just two outlets.

However, my audience just got much larger.

Today I was featured on the front page NBC’s Today Show’s website, one of the largest media outlets in the world.

About a week ago I sat down with the incredibly talented writer Victoria Oldridge for the interview. She has previously interviewed some pretty amazing people including astronaut Buzz Aldrin, fashion designer DVF – Diane von Furstenberg, TV host Meredith Vieira, and so many more.

We discussed my mom, my art, my goals to raise money for charity, and much more. She really wrote an exceptional piece.

My goal has always been to use my “gift” to help others. I’ve got a few really big things in the works already and I can’t wait to share them with you soon. Together, WE can make a difference.
