I texted my wife to send me a picture of her and this is what I received. She’s a full-time student (one more year until she becomes a doctor), and also works as a nurse. There are so many medical professionals working RIGHT NOW despite putting themselves at risk of catching the coronavirus.
Why? Because they care. Because they believe in humanity and the greater good. Because each of us has a role play if we want to beat this virus, and they’re willing to assume the most dangerous role of them all: as front-line workers.
And, if not them, then who?? They’re real life superheroes!! We collectively owe a huge debt of gratitude to these people. We’d truly be in trouble without their selfless work in this massive time of need.
Plus, it’s pretty cool to be married to a superhero!!
