Description
This graphite drawing captures Lenny Wilkens in motion as a Seattle SuperSonic. His focus is fixed ahead as he pushes the dribble forward, with the hardwood, crowd, and stripes of his high socks bringing the scene to life. It is a portrait of Lenny as a player, before his coaching career became another extraordinary chapter of his story.
Keegan and Lenny worked together on the project while Lenny was still with us. They personally signed each of the 200 limited-edition prints, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Lenny Wilkens Foundation.
Today, the drawing holds both sides of his legacy: the player Seattle loved watching and the man whose commitment to his community continues through the foundation.
