Chapter I | Run Freely
Kenny Mayne has always understood that sports can be more than entertainment.
They can be a platform.
Through Run Freely, he created something rooted in purpose. A foundation dedicated to helping veterans facing limb salvage conditions, providing the resources and support they need to walk again.
It’s a mission built on restoring independence.
On giving people back something essential.
And that purpose became the foundation of this project.

Chapter II | A Different Kind of Team
To support that mission, Kenny brought together an incredible group.
Jerry Rice. Steve Largent. Gary Payton. Jamal Crawford.
Different sports. Different eras. One shared purpose.
The idea was to create a single piece of artwork that brought all four of them together.
Not as competitors.
But as collaborators.
A unified image representing what can happen when people come together for something bigger than themselves.

Chapter III | One Piece, One Purpose
The drawing became the centerpiece of the project.
Four legends, each with their own identity, carefully brought into one composition.
Working in graphite, the focus was balance. Presence. Respect for each individual while creating a cohesive whole.
But what made the piece truly special came after it was finished.
Each of the athletes signed the original artwork.
One piece.
One-of-one.
Carrying the presence of all four.
It transformed the drawing into something more than art.
It became a symbol of the entire effort.

Chapter IV | The Event
The project came to life through a live event organized by Kenny.
Fans gathered. The athletes were there. The energy was centered around the cause.
Prints of the artwork were available, giving people a chance to take part and support Run Freely.
At the same time, the original drawing, signed by all four athletes, became a focal point.
A one-of-a-kind piece that was sold, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the foundation.
What started as an idea had now become something tangible.
An experience. A contribution. A shared moment of purpose.

Chapter V | What It Made Possible
This project was never about the names involved.
Even though they are some of the greatest to ever play.
It was about what those names could do when they came together.
Through Run Freely, veterans are given a chance to regain movement, independence, and opportunity.
This collaboration became one small part of that mission.
A drawing. A group of athletes. A room full of people.
All aligned around a single goal.
And in the end, that’s what matters.
Not just the moment.
But what the moment made possible.
