Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

Chapter I | Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
Some collaborations create hits.

Others create movements.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis built something that went far beyond music charts.

Together, they created a sound that was independent, intentional, and deeply connected to culture and community.

Their work wasn’t just about success.

It was about message.

About using their platform to challenge, uplift, and create space for others.

And that same mindset carried directly into this project.
Chapter II | A New Medium
This project marked a first.

The first time stepping into the world of music through art.

The concept was built around presence.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, back-to-back, facing the viewer.

Confident. Grounded. In sync.

Working in graphite, the goal was to create something high-contrast and striking.

A composition that reflected both individuality and partnership at the same time.

Not just two artists.

A unified force.

Chapter III | The Collaboration
Once the artwork was complete, the project moved into its next phase.

A limited edition of 200 prints.

Each one signed and numbered by Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and myself.

The process brought everything together.

Music. Art. Purpose.

What started as a drawing became a collaboration that carried the identity of all three of us.

A shared effort built around something more meaningful than the image itself.

Chapter IV | The Impact
From the beginning, the purpose of the project was clear.

One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated.

The Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Equity Fund became the foundation for that impact.

Through it, the project helped support initiatives like the hip-hop artist residency program with EMP Museum and Arts Corps.

A space designed to give young artists access, opportunity, and a platform to grow.

It also supported the 30/30 Project, founded by Ryan Lewis and his mother Julie.

An initiative focused on expanding access to healthcare in underserved communities.

What began as a piece of artwork extended into something far greater.

Real support. Real opportunity. Real change.
Chapter V | Beyond the Work
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have always approached their work with intention.

Not just creating for attention, but creating with purpose.

This project followed that same path.

A collaboration that blended music and art into something tangible.

Something that could be held, shared, and used to create impact.

Because at its best, creative work doesn’t stop at the surface.

It reaches further.

And in this case, it did exactly that.
