Rory McIlroy is a Northern Irish professional golfer who is a member of both the European Tour and the PGA Tour. Throughout his career, Rory has spent over 100 weeks as the world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking.
In 2022, Rory became the first person to win the FedEx Cup three times, and he has also played for Europe at the Ryder Cup in every edition from 2010 to 2025, with Europe winning in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2018, 2023, and 2025.
In 2025 Rory won the Masters Tournament to become a five-time major champion, and is the sixth man to achieve a modern career grand slam and the first European to achieve that feat.
