Michael Penix Jr is the Quarterback for the University of Washington Football team, and currently the front-runner to win the 2023 Heisman Trophy as the most outstanding player in college football.
In 2022, Michael led the Huskies to an 11–2 record. Penix was the FBS leader in passing yards for the 2022 regular season, averaging 357 yards per game. He also became the Washington Huskies all-time single-season passing leader during the Alamo Bowl with 4,641 passing yards. He finished eighth in the 2022 Heisman Trophy voting, and earned AP Comeback Player of the Year.
